Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Investment Operations to lead and oversee investment operations, portfolio administration, trade processing and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in investment management operations, operational risk management, process improvement and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day investment operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely execution of operational activities.

- Oversee trade lifecycle management, including trade confirmation, settlement, reconciliation and reporting.

- Manage portfolio operations, investment accounting and transaction processing.

- Ensure accurate reconciliation of investment positions, cash balances and financial records.

- Monitor operational risks, identify process gaps and implement appropriate controls.

- Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures and governance frameworks.

- Coordinate with fund managers, custodians, brokers, banks and other financial institutions.

- Oversee regulatory compliance, internal audits and operational reporting requirements.

- Drive automation, process optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Lead, mentor and develop investment operations teams.

- Prepare management reports, operational dashboards and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 10 - 15 years of experience in investment operations, asset management, portfolio operations or financial services.

- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets and portfolio administration.

- Experience in trade lifecycle management, settlements and reconciliations.

- Knowledge of investment accounting, NAV operations and financial reporting.

- Understanding of operational risk management and regulatory compliance.

- Experience managing teams and overseeing large-scale operational functions.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to mutual funds, private equity, alternative investments or institutional investment operations.

- Experience with investment management platforms and financial systems.

- Knowledge of automation and process improvement initiatives.

- Experience working with global financial institutions and cross-functional teams.
