Role Overview:
The VP / Head E-commerce & Quick Commerce will be responsible for the overall P&L of the company's e-commerce and quick commerce business, encompassing both D2C and marketplace channels. This leadership role involves developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and optimize operational efficiency.
The role requires close collaboration with marketing, supply chain, technology, and finance teams to achieve business objectives. This role will directly impact the company's ability to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing online market and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall e-commerce and quick commerce strategy, aligning with the company's broader business goals.
- Manage the P&L for all e-commerce and quick commerce channels, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Drive revenue growth through effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and product assortment strategies across D2C and marketplace platforms.
- Enhance customer experience by optimizing website/app usability, improving delivery speed, and providing excellent customer service.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of e-commerce professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with key marketplace partners, ensuring favorable terms and optimal visibility for the company's products.
- Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Optimize supply chain and logistics operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior management.
Required Skillset:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven ability to manage and grow an e-commerce business, including P&L responsibility.
- Deep understanding of D2C and marketplace business models, with experience in developing and executing successful strategies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations in the e-commerce context.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in e-commerce and quick commerce.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
