Role Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to lead due diligence and business valuation for strategic investments and acquisitions across sectors.

This role will play a critical part in enabling investment decisions by providing deep financial insights, risk assessment, and valuation analysis of target companies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Due Diligence

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of target companies including revenue quality, profitability, cash flows, and working capital

- Evaluate historical financials, identify red flags, and assess sustainability of earnings

- Analyze key financial ratios, trends, and business drivers

2. Commercial & Operational Due Diligence

- Assess business models, competitive positioning, and industry dynamics

- Evaluate operational efficiencies, cost structures, and scalability

I- dentify risks and opportunities impacting investment decisions

3. Business Valuation

Perform detailed valuation using:

- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)

- Comparable Company Analysis

- Precedent Transactions

- Build robust financial models to assess enterprise value and equity value

- Evaluate deal attractiveness through IRR, ROI, and sensitivity analysis

4. Investment Evaluation Support

- Prepare detailed investment notes and presentations for internal decision-making

- Support leadership in assessing deal viability and structuring considerations

- Provide recommendations based on analytical findings

5. Stakeholder Coordination

- Work closely with investment team, promoters, and external advisors (Big 4, consultants, legal firms)

- Ensure timely execution of diligence processes and deliverables

Key Requirements

- CA / MBA / CFA (Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes preferred)

- 14-16 years of experience in:

- Transaction Advisory / Due Diligence (Big 4)

- Investment Banking / Valuation roles

- Private Equity / Family Office analytics

- Strong expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation

- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
