- This role is responsible for leading the Front Office organization in India (~200 FTEs), delivering high quality front office enablement to Portfolio Managers, Trust Officers, Investment Strategists, and CIO partners globally.

- The role requires a senior wealth management leader with experience in large, sophisticated financial institutions capable of operating at a Vice President level with strong people leadership, domain depth, and strategic execution skills.

- This leader will act as a strategic extension of the Private Bank front office, combining wealth domain expertise with operational leadership and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

Front Office Partnership & Strategic Execution

- Serve as a senior partner to Private Bank, ISG, and CIO stakeholders, supporting delivery priorities and evolving business needs.

- Execute and continuously evolve the GWIM Front Office delivery model, aligned to investment strategy, fiduciary obligations, and client experience expectations.

- Support complex initiatives spanning Alternatives, structured investments, custom portfolio solutions, and fiduciary modernization.

Operational & Delivery Leadership :

Own end to end delivery across :

- Portfolio administration, analytics, and performance reporting

- Client presentations and investment communications

- Trust and fiduciary account reviews and administration

- Research and investment support activities

- Drive process improvement, automation, and efficiency through simplification, data, and technology adoption.

- Ensure strong risk, control, and compliance discipline, aligned to global regulatory and fiduciary standards.

People Leadership & Talent Development

- Lead and develop a large, multi location organization (~200 associates) including managers and future leaders.

- Build a high performance and inclusive culture, with strong focus on coaching, engagement, and retention.

- Develop succession plans and leadership pipeline for critical roles.

Stakeholder Management & Influence

- Partner closely with Line of Business leaders, Control Functions, Technology, and GBS leadership.

- Effectively collaborate and influence across a matrixed, global organization.

- Represent the India Front Office function in global forums as required.

Financial & Resource Management

- Own budget, expense discipline, capacity planning, and productivity outcomes for the function.

- Balance growth, efficiency, and risk objectives.

Requirements

Education : MBA, CFA, CA, CPA or equivalent professionally qualified background (mandatory)

Foundational Skills :

- Proven experience leading large front office or near front office teams supporting Portfolio Managers, Advisors, CIO, or Trust/Fiduciary functions.

- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at senior leadership / VP level interfaces.

Strong understanding of :

- Portfolio construction and performance measurement

- Investment products across traditional and alternative asset classes

- Trust, estate, and fiduciary services

- Client reporting and investment communications

- Working knowledge of wealth and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv).

Leadership Competencies:

- Strong executive presence with excellent communication and influencing skills.

- Demonstrated people first leadership style with a focus on high engagement and outcomes.

- Strong risk and control mindset.

- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and build leadership capability at scale.
