Vice President - Wealth Management
Job Summary:
Steptrade Capital is seeking an experienced, and results-driven "VP - Wealth Management" to lead and grow our distribution and investor relations initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and Wealth Management, with proven expertise in fundraising, building strategic distributor/investor networks, and expanding business footprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential investors including HNIs, UHNWIs, family offices, PE/VC firms, and institutional investors for both listed and unlisted fundraising mandates.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with distribution partners including National Distributors, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), and Wealth Management firms.
- Drive AIF sales by empaneling new distribution partners and deepening wallet share with existing ones.
- Educate distributors on market trends, product offerings, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
- Communicate updates on fund performance, investment strategy, and market developments to existing investors and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective distribution and fundraising strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and execute strategies to expand business presence and increase market share for alternate investment products.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Wealth Management, AIF distribution, Fundraising, Investor Relations, or Investment Banking.
- Proven track record in raising capital, managing HNI/institutional relationships, and growing AIF sales.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, capital markets, and private investments.
- MBA Marketing or Finance /PGDM in Finance, CFA, or equivalent financial certification.
- Experience working with boutique investment firms, family offices, or fund houses with AIF focus.
