Role Purpose:

The Business Consulting job family is structured to address end-to-end business needs. The role holder will consult with the business by assessing requirements, identifying the right analytical solution to solve the business problem, and developing the solution for execution. Engagements may cover business growth, improving customer experience, limiting risk exposure, and enhancing internal business processes. The role requires embedding agile and exploratory practices where needed and retaining flexibility to change track as scenarios evolve. The role holder is also expected to guide and lead team members from a functional perspective and help build strong business understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic & Analytical Leadership: See the bigger picture and assess relationships between recommended projects and business performance. Maintain a strong understanding of business domain and functional goals. Distil key business goals and priorities into specific goals for business partners.

- Project & Governance Management: Ensure integration of work is sequenced and prioritised correctly. Own end-to-end management and monitoring of project governance and control. Plan and oversee project and programme-level reporting.

- Operational Analytics (Originations): Build understanding of business and operations to initiate projects from Operations Analytics (Originations) and assign work across team members. Build and enhance capacity models fit for use based on business process nature and spearhead new initiatives in Origination Ops Analytics, including production discipline.

- Stakeholder Management: Closely interact with FCS Operations teams across GSC sites and FCS regions, and with country and regional heads to set prioritisation and ensure sustainable saves and tangible business value delivery.

- Team & Culture Development: Support the development of a consulting culture within the team. Partner with functional business leaders to develop analytical strategies and decision-making to achieve higher value. Guide and lead team members from a functional perspective.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Experience: 15+ years relevant experience; in-depth knowledge and understanding of financial services/banking operations is essential.

- Leadership: Proven leadership track record in dynamic/changing banking environments and ability to navigate organisational challenges.

- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated capability to solve unstructured business problems with quick TAT and design thinking. Strong planning, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Communication: Exceptionally strong organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Confident interaction with senior management, with strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Drive to execute quickly with the simultaneous ability to navigate through organizational complexities.

- Education: Postgraduate/graduate degree from a reputed institute.
