We are hiring for a Vice President, Treasury Operations role with the world's largest alternative asset manager, managing over $1.3 trillion in assets under management across real estate, private equity, credit, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, secondaries, and hedge funds.
This role sits within the Credit & Insurance division - one of the world's leading credit investors - covering private investment grade, asset based lending, public investment grade and high yield, sustainable resources, infrastructure debt, CLOs, direct lending, and opportunistic credit.
Company name will be shared with shortlisted candidates during the initial screening call.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Deal Coordination Team, Investor Client Services, and Global Fund Finance on funding mechanics (cash on hand, ABL/subscription lines, capital calls, lines of credit)
- Daily management of cash and liquidity activities for various entities, including credit facility draws, repayments, and interest/waterfall payments
- Forecast cash flow, borrowing needs, and available funds for investments
- Develop and prepare liquidity analysis tools
- Ensure timely execution of wire payments adhering to strict cut-off times
- Review cash movement activity, including wire instructions and agent notices
- Oversee margin reconciliations and resolution of breaks; work with counterparties and internal partners to resolve disputes
- Provide middle and back-office support for deal funding and trade settlements
- Manage and update internal/external standard settlement instructions as required
- Coordinate account opening and KYC refreshes with banking partners
- Assist on new business initiatives and special projects
- Identify process gaps, perform root cause analysis, design and execute creative solutions to streamline processes with focus on efficiency and risk controls
- Provide ongoing training and support for new team members
Requirements (Must-Have)
Category Requirement
- Credit Facilities Familiarity with credit facilities and borrowing base calculations for asset-based and subscription financing lines; experience managing operational aspects of credit facilities
- Project Leadership Experience leading new system implementations, enhancements, modifications, integrations, and project management
- Product Knowledge Fixed income, bank debt, and private credit
- Treasury Systems Previous experience using Treasury Management System and SWIFT payment processing and reporting
- Excel & MS Office Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Learning Agility Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Process Improvement Demonstrated ability to enhance current processes and drive improvements
- Multitasking Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Desired Qualifications (Good-to-Have)
- Previous experience using Geneva or other accounting systems
- Previous experience with alternative asset management company focused on credit investments
Ideal Candidate Profile (IIM Focus)
- MBA from IIM (any campus) or equivalent premier B-school
- 10-15+ years of experience in Treasury Operations, Fund Operations, or Middle Office within asset management, private credit, investment banking, or alternative investments
- Strong understanding of credit facilities, borrowing bases, and subscription lines
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems and SWIFT payment processing
- Background in fixed income, bank debt, and private credit products
- Proven track record of leading system implementations and process improvement initiatives
