Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our executive team in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai as the VP of Treasury & Insurance. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the organizations global liquidity position, capital structure, and comprehensive insurance portfolio. You will act as a primary advisor to the CFO and the Board, collaborating closely with cross-functional leadership, banking partners, and regulatory bodies to safeguard the companys financial health. Your strategic oversight will directly impact the firms ability to navigate market volatility, optimize cash deployment, and mitigate enterprise-wide risks, ensuring long-term fiscal resilience and sustainable growth for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end treasury operations, including cash management, capital allocation, and debt financing, to ensure optimal liquidity and solvency for the organization.

- Design and implement robust liquidity risk management frameworks to protect the company against market fluctuations and unforeseen financial exigencies.

- Lead the global insurance strategy by negotiating complex coverage programs, managing broker relationships, and overseeing claims processes to minimize enterprise risk exposure.

- Partner with senior stakeholders to forecast cash flows and evaluate investment opportunities, ensuring that capital is deployed efficiently to support strategic business objectives.

- Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining transparent reporting standards to satisfy internal auditors and external financial authorities.

- Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and operational excellence to drive continuous improvement in treasury processes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in managing complex treasury functions, including FX hedging, interest rate risk management, and sophisticated cash pooling structures.

- Exhibit a proven ability to navigate the insurance landscape, with a strong track record of structuring comprehensive risk transfer programs for large-scale operations.

- Possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing C-suite executives and building long-term partnerships with global financial institutions.

- Maintain a strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level financial data into actionable business insights that drive organizational decision-making.

- Hold a professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting principles.

- Demonstrate the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, maintaining high levels of engagement with local and remote teams.

- Bring 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in treasury and risk management, with a demonstrated history of leading large-scale financial transformations.
