Vice President - Trade Surveillance - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Trade Surveillance professional for a senior Individual Contributor (IC) - Vice President level opportunity with a leading global financial services organization.

Location: Pune

Level: Vice President

Role: Individual Contributor

Experience: 10+ years overall

Trade Surveillance: Minimum 5 - 7 years mandatory

Key Requirements:

- Strong experience in Trade - Market Surveillance

- Expertise in Fixed Income & related derivatives

- Strong understanding of Global Markets & asset classes

- Experience across trading platforms - venues

- Knowledge of Market Abuse risks & typologies

- Strong understanding of MiFID II, MAR and applicable regulations

- Experience in surveillance frameworks, controls & risk assessments

- Strong analytical skills with exposure to surveillance analytics

- Experience supporting regulatory queries, audits & governance

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor trading activity, order flows, prices and volumes

- Identify potential market manipulation, insider trading & market abuse

- Conduct detailed surveillance investigations

- Support market surveillance framework projects

- Strengthen controls, data quality and model effectiveness

- Prepare reports for senior stakeholders and regulatory authorities

- Advise stakeholders on surveillance risks and control frameworks

Important:

- Vice President candidates only

- IC role - not a pure people-management position

- 5 - 7+ years of Trade Surveillance is mandatory

- Strong Fixed Income Surveillance experience is essential
