
Role Overview:
As the Vice President of Sustainability, you will serve as the strategic architect for the firms ESG strategy. You will be driving the transition toward sustainable finance across our diverse portfolios. Your day-to-day involves navigating complex regulatory landscapes, engaging and collaborating with senior leadership to embed ESG into our core business model.
By championing transparency and ethical governance, you will directly influence our long-term value creation, ensuring that our financial outcomes are intrinsically linked to positive environmental and social impact. You will act as the primary bridge between our internal business units and external stakeholders, positioning the firm as a leader in the evolving global sustainability ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with Local & Global sustainability frameworks to enhance the firms competitive positioning in the financial services market.
- Oversee the development of sustainable finance products by partnering with internal stakeholders.
- Mentor cross-functional teams to cultivate a culture of sustainability, ensuring that ESG considerations are embedded into every stage of core business process.
- Drive the Implementation of ESG Framework across functions through internal stakeholders.
- Lead ESG reporting and disclosures, including BRSR and alignment with GRI.
- Ensure that Internal Goals set for ESG are met as per timelines defined.
- Work with the Chief Sustainability Officer for ESG strategy review on a periodic basis.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ESG frameworks in a Listed Entity with a deep understanding of BRSR, TCFD, SFDR, and GRI reporting standards.
- Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and board members, translating complex sustainability metrics into actionable business intelligence.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities paired with the ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate sensitive stakeholder negotiations and represent the firm at industry forums and sustainability summits.
- A postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 15 to 22 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, impact investing, or corporate ESG strategy within the financial services sector.
