1. End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy:

- Own and articulate a single, coherent end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned to company's growth, margin and service goals.

- Design the physical and network architecture to balance cost, speed and reach pan-India.

- Translate strategy into an execution roadmap with clear owners, milestones and unit-economic targets.

2. Sourcing & Procurement:

- Set category and sourcing strategy across crop protection, nutrition, seeds, implements and allied inputs.

- Build and manage strategic supplier and manufacturer relationships; negotiate commercials, credit terms, exclusivity and assured supply, especially ahead of peak seasons.

- Institute vendor scorecards and KPIs and run structured supplier reviews and rationalisation.

3. Demand & Inventory Planning:

- Lead demand forecasting keyed to the market insights considering the internal & external factors.

- Maintain optimal stock across the network - avoiding both stock-outs during peak demand and dead/near-expiry inventory in the off-season.

- Improve inventory turns, GMROI and working-capital efficiency while protecting availability of fast-moving and high-margin SKUs.

4. Marketplace Operations:

- Own operational performance of the marketplace: seller onboarding, catalogue and listing quality, inventory sync and SLA enforcement across third-party sellers.

- Balance own-inventory and marketplace models to optimise availability, margin and customer promise.

5. Warehouse & Fulfilment Centres:

- Own FC operations end to end - layout, storage norms for regulated inputs, safety, and compliance with agri-input storage and licensing requirements.

- Plan capacity and staffing based on the seasonal surges.

6. Logistics, First to Last-Mile & Customer Experience:

- Design and optimise the logistics and delivery network; manage 3PL/carrier partners on cost, transit time and rural serviceability.

- Own the post-order customer experience: on-time and accurate delivery, proactive communication, and fast resolution - measured on delivery NPS and complaint rates.

7. Technology, Automation & Data:

- Identify, select and implement the systems that give end-to-end visibility and traceability - WMS, OMS, TMS, planning and control-tower tooling.

- Bring automation into warehousing and fulfilment where the unit economics justify it; partner closely with Product and Tech.

- Run the function on data - define the operating metrics, dashboards and cadence that let the org see and act on supply chain health in real time.

8. Risk, Compliance & Governance:

- Build resilience against supply disruption (seasonal spikes, supplier failure, weather, regulatory shifts) with clear mitigation playbooks.

- Ensure compliance with Agri-Input regulations - licensing, batch/expiry traceability, storage and transport norms across states.

9. People & Organisation Leadership:

- Build, structure and lead a high-performing, cross-functional supply chain and operations organisation across central and regional teams.

- Set goals, mentor and develop leaders under you, and create a culture of ownership, safety and continuous improvement.
