VP - Strategic Finance & Corporate Development

Location: Gurgaon | Reporting to: CFO | Experience: 10 - 15 years

Role Overview:

A high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for driving Strategic Finance, FP&A, Working Capital, Investor Relations, Fundraising and Corporate Development. The role will work closely with the CEO, CFO, Business Heads, Board and investors and will also build and lead a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own AOP, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modelling.

- Drive working capital optimisation across receivables, payables, inventory and credit cycles.

- Build business models covering unit economics, scenario analysis, market sizing, pricing and capital allocation.

- Own MIS, KPI dashboards, Board presentations and investor reporting.

- Support fundraising, including financial modelling, investor decks, data rooms and due diligence.

- Lead financial evaluation of M&A, strategic partnerships and JVs, including valuation, due diligence, synergy analysis and deal structuring.

- Partner with business leaders to identify growth and profitability improvement levers.

- Drive improvements in FP&A systems, BI dashboards and reporting infrastructure.

- Support international business initiatives, including cross-border finance and FX/treasury management.

Ideal Candidate:

- CA or MBA Finance from a Tier-1 institution (IIM A/B/C, ISB, XLRI or equivalent).

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Strategic Finance, Business Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Management Consulting.

- 4 - 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in a high-growth startup/new-age business.

- Strong exposure to Board/investor reporting, fundraising and/or M&A.

- Excellent financial modelling, Excel, PowerPoint and BI skills.

- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous and multi-business environment.
