Job Title: Sourcing Manager (Non-IT)
Status: Contractor to Permanent Role

Department Overview:
The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for supply and demand management across a range of IT and non-IT expense lines. The team works in partnership with contract/project owners, senior internal client management, and other support functions to develop and execute sourcing and demand-driven expense initiatives that enhance value from external spend and mitigate risks associated with external vendor engagements.
Duties of the Role:
The role requires the management of sourcing projects across a range of Non-IT spend categories, with a core focus on Professional Services and HR categories.
- Develop sourcing strategies for the Professional Services and HR categories to achieve business objectives for the next 12 years
- Execute sourcing plans in line with Procurements policies and procedures
- Manage RFPs and any renewals
- Lead contract negotiations effectively to deliver robust terms and conditions that align with service delivery requirements and commercial risk management
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with business stakeholders
- Build strong supplier relationships and develop supplier management programs, driving initiatives with suppliers in coordination with business functions
- Work as part of a cross-functional team
- Monitor contractual performance in accordance with agreed SLAs to identify and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate
- Execute Business Continuity plans and proactive risk management where applicable
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent
- CIPS certification desirable
- Extensive strategic sourcing/procurement experience in a blue-chip environment, with a proven track record of successfully leading commercial activities in relevant spend categories
- Strong and experienced negotiator
- In-depth category knowledge and proven capability in applying supplier management techniques to deliver added value
- Excellent understanding of key contract clauses and risks related to relevant spend categories
- Highly credible and able to influence external vendors and internal clients
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to contribute to and/or coordinate cross-functional teams
- Able to drive projects to completion while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Detailed knowledge of supply markets, supplier capabilities, and expected trends at geographic and global levels
