Key Skills & Competencies:

A. Domain / Functional Skills:

- End-to-end understanding of trade life cycle (pre-matching, matching, settlement, fails, exceptions).

- Experience handling multi-market / cross-border settlements.

- Strong grasp of settlement systems (e.g., SWIFT, Omgeo CTM, local clearing systems).

- Knowledge of corporate actions, buy-ins, and claims handling.

Financial Instruments Knowledge:

- Understanding of trade confirmations, cash & stock reconciliation, and custody processes.

Regulatory & Risk Awareness:

- Risk identification and mitigation during settlement.

- Exposure to control and audit frameworks.

Data & Analytical Skills:

- Proficiency with Excel, MIS reporting, and dashboards.

- Analytical mindset to manage exceptions, trade breaks, and reconciliations.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

- Ability to handle client escalations and deliverables under time pressure.
