Team Size: 50+ Members

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced VP/SVP Payment Operations to lead and scale end-to-end operations for our Payment Aggregator business. The role will drive operational excellence, merchant lifecycle management, payment processing, risk & compliance, customer experience, and team leadership in a high-growth fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute operational strategies to support business growth and scalability.

- Oversee merchant onboarding, KYC, activation, and lifecycle management.

- Manage payment operations across UPI, cards, wallets, and net banking, ensuring accurate reconciliation and settlements.

- Strengthen fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

- Drive customer and merchant experience through service excellence initiatives.

- Partner with technology teams to enhance automation, process efficiency, and platform reliability.

- Optimize operational costs, productivity, and overall unit economics.

- Lead, mentor, and govern high-performing operations teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- 10-20 years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking, or Payment Aggregator businesses.

- Strong expertise in payment operations, risk & compliance, stakeholder management, analytics, and team leadership.
