The Opportunity
As we scale our advisory practice, we are inviting applications from wealth professionals at the VP / SVP level who have a strong track record of building trusted client relationships in an independent or non-banking environment. This is a rare opening for someone who values professional longevity, intellectual rigour, and the freedom to advise without institutional friction.
Target Fixed Pay - 50 Lakhs + based on Education, Experience, Knowledge & Client Relationships
You should be able to respond to following Queries with ease
- What percentage of your book & Client Base came from platform given handover referrals vs. cold outreach?
- Why did you leave your last role? What was your AUM at departure?
- Have you ever recommended a product that wasn't available on your platform because it was best for the client? How did you handle it?
- What does your most loyal client value most about working with you?
Qualifications
- CA, CFP, CFA or MBA (Finance TIER 1 Institutes preferred but not mandatory if your track record speaks for itself) - Any necessary industry required certifications like NISM Modules
- A stable track record - ideally 2-3 employers across your entire career
- A client-first mindset, not a sales-first one
The Role
- Own and grow a book of HNI / UHNI clients (AUM responsibility: INR 75 Crore+ preferred)
- Provide comprehensive wealth planning across equities, fixed income, PMS, AIFs, real estate, and Family office services like Estate, Will & succession planning
- Lead client conversations at a strategic level - from estate planning to cross-border investments
- Actively contribute to the firm's intellectual output - market views, client newsletters, seminars
- Mentor junior relationship managers within the team
The Ideal Candidate
- 8-25 years of wealth management experience at an independent platform, family office, or boutique advisory firm
- Enviable track record of client retention & AUM growth built over long stints, no frequent moves
- Deep product knowledge: MF, PMS, AIF, Bonds, Real Estate, Structured Products
