Vice President/Senior Vice President/General Manager - Treasury Transformation

Job Description:

Looking for VP / SVP Treasury Advisor role with one the client based in Mumbai location.

The person will advise large corporate companies on how to improve and modernise their Payments, Cash and liquidity management, Working capital, Foreign-exchange risk, Funding and investments.

1. Advise corporate treasurers:

- Understand how a company currently manages cash, payments, liquidity, FX and working capital, identify gaps and prepare a treasury transformation roadmap.

- Work with Relationship Managers, Coverage Bankers and Sales teams during important client discussions. The person will understand the clients treasury problems and help position suitable payment, liquidity and cash-management solutions.

- Help corporate clients improve areas such as Cash visibility, Liquidity utilisation, Working-capital efficiency, Cross-border payments, FX-risk management, Treasury centralisation, Investment management.

- Create frameworks and tools to evaluate a clients treasury function, such as:

1. Treasury review frameworks

2. Performance benchmarks

3. Gap assessments

4. Recommendations for improvement

The ideal candidate should have:

- At least 12 years of experience.

- Corporate treasury or treasury consulting experience.

- Treasury transformation and centralisation experience.

- Multi-entity and multinational corporate exposure.

- Strong knowledge of liquidity, working capital, FX and risk management.

- Strong client-facing and consulting capabilities.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

- Ability to interact with CFOs, Corporate Treasurers and senior stakeholders.

- Looking for candidate who is in Corporate Treasury role of a large multinational organisation or Treasury Consulting practices.
