Vice President/Senior Vice President - API Operations Head

About:

- Define and implement the long-term strategy for API operations in alignment with company goals.

- Lead strategic initiatives including site expansion, capacity optimization, and cost leadership.

- Identify market trends and technological advancements to keep the API division competitive.

- Oversee daily operations across multiple API manufacturing facilities (Sarigam, Dahej & Indore).

- Ensure optimal capacity utilization, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

- Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.

- Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives and oversee audit readiness.

- Foster a culture of GMP compliance and quality excellence.

- Collaborate with supply chain teams for raw material sourcing, inventory management, and logistics.

- Oversee seamless technology transfer from R&D to commercial production.

- Support process development and scale-up activities.

- Develop and manage the annual operating budget for API operations.

- Drive cost optimization, CAPEX planning, and ROI analysis for investments.

- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on safety, accountability, and innovation.

- Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines.

- Make all plants monthly MIS & present every month.

- To understood the capacity of each factory and align with business team to make sure factories are running at full capacity.

- Optimize factory production by bringing in operational efficiency by coordinating with technical services & regulatory.

- To visit all API manufacturing plants on monthly basis.
