India's leading business services company offering technology solutions to banks, financial institutions, organized retail, and e commerce companies is looking for VP Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market-share targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across banks, NBFCs, enterprises, fintechs, and payment aggregators.
- Drive enterprise account acquisition and build long-term strategic relationships.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing sales teams across regions.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and enhance team capability through coaching and training.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage large enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Lead high-value negotiations and commercial discussions with CXOs, decision makers, and key partners.
- Ensure strong client engagement and retention through consistent solution delivery and consultative selling.
Market & Product Expertise:
- Understand fintech products such as payment gateways, UPI solutions, wallets, digital onboarding, reconciliation tools, API-based payment solutions, and enterprise fintech platforms.
- Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to product and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to deliver customized solutions.
Operational & Forecasting Responsibilities:
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance, pricing governance, and contract management.
- Drive efficient sales processes and CRM system usage.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- MBA/PGDM preferred; specialisation in Sales, Marketing, or Finance is an advantage.
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in sales with at least 8 years in fintech / payments / BFSI technology.
- Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, payment solutions, and fintech product sales.
- Experience managing large teams and complex enterprise accounts.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of digital payments ecosystem-UPI, PG, POS, EMI, cards, APIs, and enterprise fintech solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build CXO-level relationships.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- High energy, growth-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced fintech environment.
