Role Mandate:
- The VP - Sales will own the national revenue charter and lead a large, high-velocity inside sales organization.
- This role requires a builder-operator mindset - someone who can scale revenue predictably, improve funnel metrics, and build strong second-line leadership in a performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & P&L Ownership:
- Drive annual revenue targets in a high-growth, multi-hundred crore scale environment
- Build quarterly operating rhythm & forecast predictability
- Ensure alignment between marketing acquisition and sales conversions
Inside Sales Leadership
- Lead and scale 300 member inside sales teams
- Improve lead-to-enrolment conversion rates
- Drive productivity metrics: revenue per counselor, per team, per region
- Optimize CAC, discounting structures & margin levers
Process & Analytics
- Build structured sales playbooks and training frameworks
- Implement strong CRM governance and real-time dashboarding
- Strengthen data-led decision making
Expansion & Growth
- Launch new program verticals & new city expansion
- Drive referral & performance-based growth channels
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12-18 years of experience with 5+ years leading large inside sales teams
- Strong exposure to high-ticket B2C sales (Education / Fintech / Consumer Internet / Career Services)
- Experience managing 200+ member sales teams preferred
- Proven track record of scaling revenue in fast-growth environments
- Strong grip on metrics, incentives, productivity & performance culture
