Job Description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished Vice President of Sales with a proven track record in high-value consultative selling to join our team as a senior individual contributor. In this strategic role, you will own the end-to-end enterprise sales process, focusing on building relationships with executive stakeholders and closing complex, high-impact deals. This is not a team management role-it's a hands-on position for a senior sales professional who thrives on delivering results.
Role Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives.
- Define and manage sales targets, KPIs, and forecasting processes.
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments in alignment with the company's consulting service offerings.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives in collaboration with consulting/delivery teams to grow client accounts post-sale.
- Develop consultative, solution-based sales approaches for high-value B2B prospects.
- Manage and coach the team in complex deal structuring, proposal writing, value proposition design, and C-suite presentations.
Client Engagement & Business Development:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, decision-makers, and strategic partners.
- Lead enterprise-level negotiations and close high-value consulting engagements.
- Collaborate closely with delivery and consulting teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of sales experience in high-value B2B services-preferably in strategy consulting or market research.
- Proven ability to sell to international clients and work with senior decision-makers in global organizations.
- Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions or services.
- Strong track record in independently managing sales cycles and closing deals.
- Exposure to or experience in executing market research assignments (domestic or international) is an advantage.
- Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and confident presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to convincingly present data-driven proposals.
- Deep understanding of Indian business and industry landscape; awareness of global business trends.
- Willingness to travel extensively-both domestically and internationally-for client meetings and business development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related fields.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing or International Business will be an added advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
