
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented VP Sales to lead our B2B SaaS sales organization. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing the P&L for our SaaS business. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer value. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to acquire new customers, expand our market share, and achieve ambitious revenue targets, ultimately shaping the future of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the B2B SaaS space.
- Own and manage the P&L for the sales organization, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, identifying target markets, defining value propositions, and optimizing sales processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and inform product development.
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, providing accurate and timely insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective lead generation campaigns and sales enablement materials.
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful B2B SaaS sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, with a track record of achieving profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and developing a high-performing sales team.
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies, including market segmentation, value proposition development, and sales process optimization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS business model and the ability to articulate the value proposition to potential customers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10-14 years of experience in B2B sales, with a significant portion focused on SaaS solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
