Location: Mumbai / Bangalore Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Vice President - Sales & Business Development to lead the strategic growth of our Water Cooling and Power Plant business units. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving large-scale industrial solution sales, developing long-term client relationships, leading high-performance teams, and delivering consistent revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: - Develop and execute growth strategies for Water Cooling and Power Plant divisions aligned with the company's vision. - Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs. - Lead annual sales planning, budgeting, and target setting. Business Development: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in industrial sectors - Drive end-to-end business development cycle - from lead generation to deal closure. - Expand footprint across domestic and international markets (if applicable). Sales Management: - Achieve revenue and profitability targets through direct sales and channel development. - Develop customized proposals, negotiate large contracts, and manage key account relationships. - Work closely with technical and engineering teams to deliver tailored customer solutions. Team Leadership: - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and BD team across regions. - Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented, and performance-driven culture. - Conduct regular training and capability-building sessions for the team. Stakeholder Management: - Liaise with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Projects, Finance, and Legal for seamless execution of contracts. - Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to inform product and service innovation. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering / MBA preferred. - Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in Sales/BD, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Understanding of Water Cooling solutions (cooling towers, condensers, etc.) and Power Plant infrastructure
