Role Overview:

The Head AIF Sales will be responsible for building and scaling the firms AIF distribution franchise across HNI, UHNI, family offices, private banks, and wealth management platforms. The role owns fund-raising strategy, distributor relationships, regional expansion, and sales team leadership, with a mandate to significantly grow AUM across multiple alternative strategies.

This is a front-line revenue leadership role requiring strong market credibility and deep relationships in Indias private wealth ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead national fund-raising for AIF products across Category II & III strategies.

- Build relationships with private banks, wealth managers, IFAs, family offices, and institutional allocators.

- Design and execute distribution strategy by geography and channel.

- Recruit, manage, and scale regional AIF sales teams.

- Drive new product launches in partnership with investment teams.

- Conduct investor presentations, roadshows, and due-diligence meetings.

- Track sales pipelines, conversions, and AUM growth metrics.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI distribution and marketing regulations.

- Provide market intelligence to product and leadership teams.

- Deep relationships within HNI/UHNI wealth networks.

- Strong understanding of AIF structures, regulations, and product positioning.

- Proven track record of raising capital for alternative strategies.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 12-20+ years in wealth distribution / alternatives sales.

- Minimum 6-8 years in senior AIF / PMS fund-raising roles.

- Experience with Category II or III AIFs mandatory.

- MBA / CFA preferred.
