Job Title: Vice President Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)

Role Overview
The Vice President Rewards will lead the Group-wide Compensation & Benefits strategy, ensuring reward frameworks are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organizations growth, performance, and governance objectives. This role will act as a strategic advisor on executive compensation, pay governance, and reward innovation.
The incumbent will manage rewards across multiple businesses, geographies, and employee segments, balancing market competitiveness with cost discipline and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Group Rewards Strategy & Governance
Design and drive a Group-level rewards philosophy aligned with business strategy and shareholder expectations.
Establish governance frameworks for:
- Salary structures & bands
- Annual compensation reviews
- Variable pay & incentive plans
- Long-term incentive (LTI / ESOP / RSU) programs
Ensure strong pay governance, internal equity, and regulatory compliance.
2. Executive & Leadership Compensation
Own CXO and senior leadership compensation design, benchmarking, and review.
Partner with the Board / HR Committee on:
- Executive pay structures
- Performance-linked pay
- Retention and long-term incentive programs
Manage sensitive compensation discussions with discretion and credibility.
3. Variable Pay & Incentive Design
Design and manage short-term incentive (STI) and long-term incentive (LTI) plans across businesses.
Ensure alignment between:
- Business performance
- Individual performance
- Shareholder value creation
Drive transparency, simplicity, and effectiveness of incentive plans.
4. Benefits Strategy & Optimization
Lead design and optimization of employee benefits:
- Insurance (health, life, accident)
- Retirement benefits
- Perquisites and flexible benefits
Balance employee value proposition with cost optimization and vendor effectiveness.
Lead negotiations with insurers and benefits vendors.
5. Market Benchmarking & Pay Competitiveness
Own compensation benchmarking using leading survey providers (Mercer, Aon, WTW, Korn Ferry).
Track market trends and emerging reward practices.
Provide insights to leadership on pay competitiveness and talent risks.
6. Rewards Operations, Analytics & Systems
Ensure accurate and timely execution of:
- Annual pay cycles
- Incentive payouts
- Benefits administration
Build advanced rewards analytics and dashboards:
- Pay equity
- Cost of workforce
- Incentive ROI
Drive digitization and automation of rewards processes.
Experience & Qualifications
1418 years of progressive HR experience
10+ years in senior Rewards / C&B leadership roles
