Hiring: VP, Revenue (Online Channels)
Location: Bangalore - Type: Full-time - Experience: 10 - 15 years
Company: A fast-growing healthy kitchenware brand (confidential)
The role:
Own and scale the online business across D2C, marketplaces, and quick commerce, with full accountability for channel P&L, revenue, contribution margins, availability, and market share. This is a hands-on role: you'll go from the annual plan down to SKU-level performance, campaign efficiency, pricing, inventory, and platform negotiations.
What you'll own:
- Revenue and P&L: Targets, budgets, pricing, promotions, and platform costs, with a focus on healthy GM, CM1, and CM2, not just gross sales
- D2C website: Conversion, AOV, CAC, ROAS, MER, prepaid share, RTO, and repeat purchase
- Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra/Ajio): Platform relationships, ad efficiency, listings, ratings, organic ranking, and CM2
- Quick commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart): Commercials, visibility, fill rates, dark-store productivity, and profitable expansion
- Availability and inventory: Working with Supply Chain and Operations to prevent stock-outs while managing inventory days and working capital
- Growth strategy: Finding the next 10Cr, 50Cr, and 100Cr of profitable online growth across channels, categories, and geographies
- Team: Building and leading channel teams that think like business owners, with clear weekly and monthly operating rhythms
What we're looking for:
- 10 - 15 years in ecommerce, D2C, marketplaces, or consumer businesses
- Proven track record scaling a significant online business and owning a meaningful P&L
- Hands-on experience across D2C website, Amazon/Flipkart, and Quick Commerce
- Strong grasp of unit economics, CAC, ROAS, MER, and marketplace advertising
- Strong platform relationships and negotiation skills
- Analytical depth, comfortable in SKU and channel-level data
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
You'll do well here if you:
- Ask what happened to CM2 before celebrating revenue
- Treat availability as a revenue problem, not just an operations problem
- Know when to dig into details and when to let your team own the solution
- Think like the owner of the whole online business, not of individual channels
