Vice President - Revenue Assurance - Financial Services - CA

Role Purpose

The VP - Revenue Assurance (RA) will lead the end-to-end revenue integrity framework, ensuring completeness, accuracy, automations, controls and timeliness of all revenue streams across various revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities

1. Validate and provide assurance to the CFO on the accuracy and completeness of all income booking and pass-throughs (SEBI Charges, IPFT Contributions, STT/CTT, fines and penalties and arbitration matters)

- Design and implement and validate enterprise-wide RA framework

- Set up policies and controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue billing and leakage prevention

- Align with management and regulatory expectations

- Ensure all streams/segments of revenue billing and other passthrough related transactions with rates as defined in SEBI, Internal Circulars and regulatory guidelines are accurate and complete

- Ensure all streams/segments of revenue billing and other passthrough related transactions with underlying drivers e.g., volumes, racks, count, market cap, paid- up capital, etc. from source systems

- Reconciliation of revenue billing and other passthrough related transactions between source system and billing system and accounting system

2. Control checks and automation

- Implementation of new billing system

- Drive control checks into billing and align with the Concurrent auditor

- Work with the Internal Control and F&A teams to mitigate Concurrent auditor observations

- Drive relevant automations for controls and processes

- Partner with tech teams to embed controls and processes

3. Regulatory & Audit Alignment and Stakeholder Management

- Ensure audit readiness

- Support regulatory inspections

- Strengthening documentation and audit trails

- Collaborate with business, technology, finance, internal controls and auditors

4. Team Leadership

- Build and lead RA team

- Drive data-driven culture

Candidate Profile

Education:

- CA Qualified

- 16+ years in Revenue Assurance, Financial Controls, or Internal Audit

- Experience in BFSI, fintech, or IT services preferred

Core Competencies:

- Strong understanding of business revenue lifecycle & controls

- Analytical and data-driven mindset

- ERP, Billing module and data tools exposure (Oracle, SQL, BI tools)

- Senior level presentations - dashboards

- Stakeholder management in regulated environments
