Vice President - Resource Raising

Role : Vice President - Resource Raising

We are mandated to hire a Vice President Resource Raising for a Government-backed Development Financial Institution (DFI) focused on infrastructure financing, based in Mumbai.

Role Highlights :

- Lead the institutions resource mobilization and fundraising strategy

- Build relationships with domestic and international investors, MDBs, DFIs, FIIs, and Sovereign Wealth Funds

- Drive capital raising initiatives to support large-scale infrastructure projects

- Develop diversified funding sources through domestic and offshore markets

- Work closely with senior leadership on balance sheet growth and funding strategy

- Lead investor engagement programs, roadshows, and strategic partnerships

- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Analysts and Senior Analysts

Eligibility & Requirements :

- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution

- Preferred : CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent

- Minimum 12 years of experience in the financial/corporate sector, with at least 6 years in the financial sector

- At least 3 years of experience in fundraising strategy, resource mobilization, institutional fund raising, capital raising, or investor relations

- Proven track record of raising funds from major institutions in India and/or globally

- Age : 55 years and below (as on date of advertisement)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement fundraising and resource mobilization strategies aligned with institutional objectives

- Mobilize capital from domestic and international investors, including FIIs, MDBs, DFIs, and SWFs

- Structure cost-effective funding solutions through onshore and offshore borrowing programs

- Conduct investor roadshows and strengthen investor confidence in the institutions vision

- Build and maintain strong networks with merchant banks, institutional investors, and government stakeholders

- Monitor fundraising pipeline and provide strategic updates to leadership

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for borrowings and funding activities

- Lead and mentor a team while driving cross-functional collaboration
