Vice President - R&D - Pharma Industry

We're Hiring: Vice President - R&D (Pharma Industry) | Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Join a leading pharmaceutical company and lead innovation at scale! We're looking for a VP - Research & Development to head team of formulation and analytical scientists focused on oral solid dosage (OSD) forms.

This strategic leadership role is based in Hyderabad, India, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. You will be responsible for setting vision, driving ANDA/NDA project pipelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead product formulation, analytical method development, validation, and tech transfer

2. Deliver a consistent pipeline of ANDA/NDA filings

3. Build and develop high-performing scientific teams

4. Oversee regulatory submissions and deficiency responses

5. Ensure cGMP, ICH, and FDA compliance

6. Drive cross-functional collaborations with QA/QC, Manufacturing, Regulatory & Procurement

7. Optimize R&D operations and budgets, implement cutting-edge technologies

What We're Looking For:

1. Master's in Chemistry or Life Sciences with min 15+ years in generic drug development, with strong OSD experience and min 5+ years in leading multi-disciplinary R&D teams.

2. Strong leadership, project management & communication skills

3. Proven track record in ANDA/NDA strategy and execution
