VP Quality - For a Large Manufacturing Organization - Indian MNC !

Job Description:

Our client is a mid-sized & growing Indian MNC in the domain of Textile, Plastics and more. They have several plants in India and some in the USA.

The Vice President - Quality will be a strategic leader responsible for ensuring world-class quality systems and practices across all manufacturing locations. This role will oversee plant quality heads in India and the USA and will ensure alignment of quality operations with customer expectations, global standards, and regulatory compliance, especially with regard to US-specific quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement a unified Quality Vision & Strategy across all manufacturing plants

- Lead plant quality heads and teams across 5 manufacturing facilities

- Improve quality assurance and control systems, ensuring compliance with global standards

- Drive zero-defect culture, implement Six Sigma and TQM practices to improve product quality and manufacturing excellence

- Ensure adherence to US-specific quality and compliance requirements, including material traceability, certification, and audit practices

- Partner with R&D, Production, and Sales teams to ensure quality is embedded at every stage of the product lifecycle

- Lead internal and external audits; interface with key customers on quality-related issues and resolutions

- Develop KPIs and dashboards for real-time quality monitoring and executive reporting.

- Champion customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)

- Collaborate with leadership on global supply chain, vendor quality assurance, and new product introduction (NPI) quality metrics

Desired Profile:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, MBA or related

- 15+ years of quality leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing multi-plant quality operations.

- Deep understanding of quality systems

- Hands-on experience with US quality standards and regulations, including knowledge of US customer expectations, audits, and compliance norms.

- Certifications in Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor, TQM, or equivalent preferred.

- Strong leadership and influencing skills with experience leading cross-functional, multicultural teams.

- Willingness to travel to plants within India and the USA as needed.

- Excellent communication & presentation skills
