Vice President - Purchase - Caftans/toles & Scarves

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement and strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Source fabrics, textiles, trims, embellishments, and finished products for Caftans, Stoles, and Scarves.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and international suppliers.

- Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Drive cost optimization and ensure competitive sourcing without compromising quality.

- Coordinate procurement aligned with textile materials, fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

- Collaborate with design, merchandising, production, and business teams to understand sourcing requirements.

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities from supplier identification through order fulfillment.

- Develop alternative sourcing options to ensure supply continuity and mitigate procurement risks.

- Stay updated on textile trends, material availability, supplier capabilities, and international sourcing opportunities.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or vendor management within the textile, fashion, apparel, or lifestyle industry.

- Strong experience sourcing fabrics, trims, embellishments, and finished products.

- Experience managing domestic and international suppliers.

- Strong understanding of textiles, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.

- Proven expertise in vendor negotiations, cost management, and supplier development.

- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.

- Experience working with fashion, apparel, or textile products will be preferred.
