Vice President - Purchase - Caftans/Stoles & Scarves

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead sourcing of fabrics, trims, embellishments, and finished products for Caftans, Stoles, and Scarves.

Manage domestic and international supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and contracts with vendors.

Drive procurement planning, vendor development, and supply continuity.

Collaborate with design, merchandising, production, and quality teams to support product development.

Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

1520 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Vendor Management.

Domestic & International Sourcing

Contract Negotiation

Supply Chain Management

Cost Optimization

Manufacturing Processes

In-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, embellishments, and textile manufacturing.

Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the Apparel, Fashion, Textile, or Retail industry.

Exposure to global sourcing and international vendor management.

MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management is an added advantage.
