Vice President - Projects - Residential HiRise Constructions

Our Client is looking for a Vice President Projects to lead and oversee multiple large-scale residential high rise construction projects.

The ideal candidate should have excellent project execution skills and a solid track record with reputed real estate organizations, should have handled execution of atleast a million sq.ft.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end execution of ongoing residential projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards.

- Drive project planning, monitoring, execution, and handover activities across multiple assigned locations by the organisation.

- Responsible for overseeing construction operations involving both direct labour and third-party contractor workforce.

- Ensure control on project schedules, costs, safety standards and statutory compliances.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.

- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

- Review project progress through MIS reports, dashboards, and site visits, ensuring timely corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and construction best practices.

- Support business growth through effective project governance and operational excellence.

Candidate Background:

- BE Civil Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience and Age not exceeding 50 years.

- Candidate should be from Residential Constructions-High Rises only and not from Commercial/Infrastructure projects background.

- Candidate should be able to speak Tamil fluently - it's a mandatory requirement.

- Strong expertise in project management, budgeting, planning, contracts, and execution.

- Experience of working on Project Management tools, knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project is preferred.

- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations and statutory compliances.
