JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Vice President - Projects

Reporting To: COO / CEO - Mumbai Business

Grade: Vice President

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Purpose

- Lead the Planning and Project Execution function for the Mumbai Business Unit by ensuring redevelopment and SRA projects are delivered on time, within budget, to the required quality and safety standards.

- Drive project planning, execution excellence and cross-functional coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

- Develop project execution strategies, master schedules and milestone plans.

- Review project feasibility, execution methodology and resource planning.

- Monitor project timelines and identify schedule risks proactively.

Project Execution

- Lead construction execution from mobilization to project completion.

- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, cost and delivery commitments.

- Drive value engineering and productivity improvement initiatives.

Coordination & Governance

- Coordinate with Design, SCM, Finance, Legal, Liaison and Sales teams.

- Review contractor performance and project progress.

- Conduct periodic project reviews and resolve execution challenges.

Reporting

- Prepare project MIS, dashboards and management reports.

- Monitor project budgets, cost variations and resource utilization.

- Ensure statutory and contractual compliance across projects.

Education

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering mandatory. M.Tech / PMP / MBA preferred.

Experience

- 18-25 years in large residential or mixed-use real estate projects with significant redevelopment and project planning experience.
