Vice President/Principal - Investments - BFSI

A leading growth equity investment platform is looking to hire a Vice President / Principal to join its core investment team. The role involves sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across high-growth technology businesses from Series C to pre-IPO stages. The selected candidate will work closely with the founding partners and play a key role in investment strategy, transaction execution, and portfolio value creation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead deal origination and build proprietary investment pipeline across the technology ecosystem.

- Drive end-to-end investment execution, including financial analysis, commercial diligence, valuation, and transaction structuring.

- Evaluate technology businesses through rigorous assessment of financial performance, unit economics, scalability, and growth potential.

- Partner with portfolio company leadership teams on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and value creation opportunities.

- Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, intermediaries, and the broader technology ecosystem.

- Support investment committee discussions with high-quality research, recommendations, and market insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 815 years of buy-side investing experience in Growth Equity or Private Equity.

- Strong exposure to technology sectors such as Software as a Service, Information Technology Services, Consumer Technology, or Deep Technology.

- Demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end investment transactions.

- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and commercial due diligence capabilities.

- Established network within the Indian technology startup and investment ecosystem.

- Willing to work onsite from Mumbai.
