VP Pre-IPO Sales | Private Markets | Bengaluru
We are hiring a dynamic VP Pre-IPO Sales to lead the Private Markets vertical for a fast-growing wealth & investment advisory firm.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving deal origination, sales growth, and client engagement across Pre-IPO and unlisted equity opportunities for HNIs, UHNIs, and family offices.
Role Overview:
The VP Pre-IPO Sales will oversee sourcing, structuring, and distributing pre-IPO and unlisted equity deals while building a strong distribution network.
The role requires a deep understanding of private markets, strong industry relationships, and proven experience in wealth management or investment banking.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Pre-IPO and unlisted equity offerings.
- Identify high-potential private market opportunities and build relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers.
- Set and drive revenue targets, leading the vertical toward aggressive growth.
Sales & Distribution:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on private market products.
- Develop a strong distribution network across wealth managers, IFAs, and institutional partners.
- Drive client acquisition through strategic selling and long-term relationship building.
Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
- Engage with HNI/UHNI clients to present investment opportunities aligned to their financial goals.
- Offer end-to-end advisory support including due diligence insights, valuation perspectives, and exit planning.
- Ensure superior client experience and seamless post-investment engagement.
Product Development & Research Collaboration:
- Collaborate with research and investment teams to evaluate and structure Pre-IPO deals.
- Contribute to product notes, marketing materials, and investor communication content.
- Stay updated on market trends, valuation benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines (SEBI/private markets).
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory frameworks and internal governance protocols.
- Maintain high standards of transparency and documentation across client and partner interactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related disciplines (MBA/CFA preferred).
- 10-15 years of experience in private wealth, investment banking, or private market sales.
- Strong network of HNI, UHNI, and family office relationships.
- Proven success in deal sourcing, structuring, and execution in private/unlisted markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities
