About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations, preferably from the Defence Forces, to lead and scale all operational functions across demonstrations, deployments, quality assurance, customer acceptance, and technical support. This role will be responsible for building and managing a large multifunctional team while ensuring operational excellence across all customer engagements and Counter-UAS deployments. The ideal candidate will play a critical leadership role in transforming customer opportunities into successful deployments, ensuring high-quality execution, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer outcomes. This position requires a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational discipline, customer engagement capability, and field execution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Leadership & Business Support:

- Own and lead the complete Operations function, Deployments, Quality Assurance, Customer Acceptance, and Post-Deployment Support

- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing multidisciplinary team comprising Deployment Engineers, Field Operations Personnel, Quality Engineers, and Technical Support staff

- Develop operational capacity plans aligned with sales forecasts, order book commitments, and business growth objectives

- Ensure operational readiness for customer demonstrations, Field evaluations, pilot projects, and production deployments

- Act as the primary interface between Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Customer Success teams

2. Deployment & Program Management:

- Lead nationwide deployment programs, ensuring successful execution, customer acceptance, and operational handover

- Manage project planning, manpower allocation, logistics coordination, site readiness, and deployment execution across multiple customer locations

- Establish and monitor deployment KPIs focused on quality, timelines, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction

- Ensure compliance with applicable defence, aviation, and regulatory frameworks including DGCA, DGFT, DDP, ARDTC, and related authorities

3. Quality Management & Continuous Improvement:

- Establish and drive a company-wide Quality Management Framework covering product quality, deployment quality, process compliance, and customer acceptance standards

- Implement quality audits, root cause analysis programs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Defence Studies, Aviation, Operations Management, or a related field

- Postgraduate qualification in Management, Operations, Defence Studies, or related disciplines

Technical & Functional Skills:

- Strong understanding of Counter-UAS systems, UAV technologies, flight systems, telemetry, command-and-control systems, and software platforms

- Experience managing customer demonstrations, technical evaluations, operational acceptance, and training programs

- Strong project management, operational planning, and deployment execution capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- DGCA Drone Pilot Certification

- Exposure to GIS platforms, AI-driven surveillance systems, defence-grade UAV technologies, or command-and-control systems

- Experience working with government, defence, homeland security, or critical infrastructure customers
