Vice President - Operations - D2C

Hiring at D2C India's first clean, skin-first makeup brand built to prove that high-performance beauty can be both effective and ethical.

Job role:

End-to-end supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and operational execution, ensuring smooth product availability, cost efficiency, and scalable processes. Will be responsible for operations P&L management, MIS reporting, and aligning operations with the company's growth plans.

1. Supply Chain & Inventory:

- End-to-end responsibility for procurement, vendor management, manufacturing coordination.

- Optimize inventory planning & forecasting to ensure availability without overstocking.

- Manage packaging supply chain and ensure on-time replenishment.

2. Warehousing & Logistics:

- Oversee warehousing operations: space utilization, efficiency, safety.

- Manage dispatch, order fulfillment, and 3PL/logistics partners.

- Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery targets across D2C and marketplaces.

3. P&L & Cost Management:

- Own operations P&L: control costs, improve margins, manage working capital.

- Drive efficiencies in BOM, packaging, logistics, and vendor contracts.

- Monitor and report unit economics (cost per order, fulfillment cost, etc.).

4. MIS, Reporting & Process Excellence:

- Build and maintain MIS dashboards for daily, weekly, monthly reporting.

- Set up SOPs for supply chain and operations across stakeholders.

- Track KPIs: inventory turnover, lead times, shrinkage, return % etc.

5. Cross-Functional & Leadership:

- Work closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, and D2C Tech to align supply chain with launches and campaigns.

- Lead and mentor a growing operations team (warehouse, logistics, supply chain executives).

- Manage external vendors and negotiate contracts.
