
Talent Quotient Partners is seeking a results-driven, growth-oriented Vice President - Operations for a leading specialty manufacturer of precision electronic relay components, to lead and drive their 100% export-oriented, high-end precision manufacturing operations
Key Responsibilities:
1. Global Customer Interaction:
- Act as the primary operations interface for strategic customers from the USA and Europe.
- Conduct operational reviews, ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with customer expectations and strengthen long-term partnerships.
2. Manufacturing & Plant Operations Leadership:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing units, with strong exposure to electronics / PCB / electrical / technical manufacturing environments.
- Oversee end-to-end production operations, including production planning, PPC, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, and resource allocation.
3. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and cycle-time improvement.
- Drive implementation of Value Engineering, MOST, Time & Motion Studies, OEE calculation, PQCDSM frameworks, and best-in-class manufacturing practices.
- Champion Industry 4.0 initiatives, including digitization, automation, AI, IoT, and smart factory concepts.
4. Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Best Practices:
- Lead implementation and sustenance of TPM, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies.
- Drive a strong culture of right-first-time, zero-defect manufacturing, and continuous quality improvement across operations.
6. People Leadership & Organizational Development:
- Build a performance-driven, accountable, and collaborative culture aligned with organizational values.
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and workforce capability enhancement within operations.
7. Health, Safety & Sustainability:
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards, safety protocols, and statutory requirements.
- Promote a safe, secure, and compliant work environment across all facilities.
8. Compliance & Certifications:
- Ensure compliance and hands-on exposure to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Work closely with audits, certifications, and continuous compliance improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1) 22-25 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in PCBs / electronics / electrical manufacturing.
2) Strong background in plant management, PPC, large-team leadership, and multi-location operations.
3) Proven experience in digitization, automation, AI, IoT, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
4) Highly data-driven, innovative, and execution-focused leader.
5) Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
