Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Define and execute operations strategy aligned with business growth goals.

- Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term planning for inventory, logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment.

- Drive innovation in operational models, leveraging technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Key KPIs:

- P&L outcomes: Top-line delivery across all channels.

- Inventory availability at retail stores, dark stores, and fulfillment centers as per consumer demand.

- Consumer delivery performance: Speed, on-time delivery against promise at warehouse and logistics levels.

- Cost of operations: Cost per order (B2C), movement cost per unit (B2B).

- Demand & supply planning: Accurate forecasting for all service nodes and maintaining strong on-shelf availability for third-party and private brands.

- Manage sourcing and distribution for third-party brands and private labels.

Logistics Management:

- Oversee end-to-end logistics for B2B (sourcing, inter-warehouse movement, retail store replenishment) and B2C (consumer order delivery).

- Build and optimize a scalable distribution network for urban and non-urban markets.

- Partner with 3PLs, transporters, and warehouse service providers to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency.

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations:

- Lead warehouse strategy, design, and execution across multiple locations including DCs, FCs, dark stores, and retail stores.

- Drive inventory accuracy, throughput optimization, and SLA adherence.

- Champion automation, layout optimization, safety, compliance, and sustainability standards.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

- Build, mentor, and lead large cross-functional operations teams across geographies.

- Collaborate with CXOs, category, finance, and technology teams to deliver customer-first operations.

- Establish clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability across the operations function.

Process Excellence & Risk Management:

- Champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence frameworks.

- Implement robust risk management and business continuity frameworks.

- Set up governance, SOPs, and strong internal controls for scalable and compliant operations.

Customer-Centric Execution:

- Ensure customer promise is consistently met through best-in-class fulfillment and delivery.

- Drive core metrics such as On-Time Delivery, OTIF (On Time In Full), and Customer Satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 15+ years of progressive leadership in operations, supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management.

- Strong exposure to both e-commerce/quick commerce and retail ecosystems.

- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex, multi-location operations.

- Expertise in automation, process optimization, and cost efficiency.
