Business : Risk & Compliance Seniority : Vice President Level We are seeking an experienced professional to join the Risk & Compliance team of a leading global bank as VP - Model Risk Governance & Stewards. This is a critical leadership role driving model risk oversight, risk stewardship, and policy governance, while engaging with senior stakeholders and regulators. Key Responsibilities : - Provide strong risk stewardship within the 1st Line of Defense (1LOD) - Oversee Risk Taxonomy and Model Risk Control Library implementation - Lead RCA reviews, risk appetite setting, and policy compliance oversight - Support and challenge 1LOD in risk acceptance and remediation planning - Engage in risk governance forums and contribute to enterprise risk reporting - Advise senior leaders on model risk, emerging threats, and regulatory expectations Qualifications & Skills: - Significant experience in model risk governance, validation, or development - Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management - Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead in a matrix structure - Exposure to enterprise-wide risk reporting and stewardship models
