Vice President - Model Risk Governance

Our client is a leading global financial institution that is expanding its Risk Management capabilities in India and is looking to hire an experienced Model Risk Governance professional to join their Global Risk team.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the design and implementation of the firm's model risk management framework, policies and governance standards.

- Managing model inventory, risk reporting, governance analytics and control assessments across the model lifecycle.

- Preparing executive dashboards, risk metrics and regulatory reporting related to model risk governance.

- Partnering with stakeholders across risk, business and technology teams to strengthen model governance and risk culture.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- 5+ years of experience in model risk governance, model validation or risk management within financial services.

- Strong understanding of model risk frameworks, governance controls, inventory management and regulatory requirements.

- Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience with risk reporting tools, governance platforms and data analysis capabilities would be advantageous.
