Duties & Key Responsibilities: - Build monitor and maintain credit risk models for loan acquisition and portfolio management. These models will be utilized for loan offer qualification campaigns underwriting and line assignment. - Work closely with Risk Policy teams to understand their challenges and provide analytical solutions through statistical modeling credit policy and strategy reporting and data analysis. - Coordinate the creation of experimental data modeling designs by the Data Scientists ensuring A/B tests are run constantly in order to evaluate changes in credit performance. - - Lead the team in project execution to ensure that projects are designed well completed on time within budget and to service delivery specification. - Key Decisions / Dimensions: - Model build design Algorithms that should be used in model building - Business interpretation of statistical models - Model Monitoring results and interpretation Required Qualifications And Experience: Qualification : B-Tech/MBA Finance / Postgraduate with 1-4 years in quantitative subjects (Statistics/Data Science) Work Experience: - Minimum 8+ years relevant experience in Credit Risk Model Development, Monitoring and Deployment. - Prior experience in successfully developing and deploying application, behavior and EWS scorecards. - - Experience in building models in both traditional and new age ML algorithms - Understanding & appreciation of statistical concepts, tools & techniques - Understanding & appreciation of programming - Preferred Coding languages: SAS, SQL, R, Python. - Knowledge of principles in risk management (life cycle management of customer credit) - Knowledge of credit appraisal, risk analytics, industry and product trends. - Experience in handling huge data base and the ability to do root cause analysis.
