This position is to lead marketing for a separate line of business with a strong presence in Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, and eBay with more partner relationships in the works. The line of business is growing fast (CAGR ~70%) and is on the trajectory to achieve significant revenue growth. All products are sold direct to consumers via online channels.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be accountable for revenue and contribution growth for the assigned vertical through the following:
- Revenue Growth: Consistently meet and exceed sales and margin goals through effective marketing strategies and execution
- Customer Value: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously enhance value to customers in terms of product range, availability, price, and service
- Marketing Excellence: Drive integrated marketing campaigns across all channels to deliver sales growth and build brand equity
- Channel Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to expand into new channels and strengthen performance in existing sales channels
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior Marketing leadership role with 8+ years' experience in online retail, preferably in the North American market
- Must have demonstrable experience building at least one brand with a strong digital presence and sustained growth trajectory
- Deep expertise in digital marketing - SEO/SEM, email, social media, affiliate and display advertising. Strong experience with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay is essential
- High facility with numbers and exceptional analytical skills to handle complexity and ambiguity in a data-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to sell ideas, build consensus across stakeholders, and establish lasting relationships
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing marketing teams
Reporting Relationships:
- The incumbent will report to the COO located in Chennai with a dotted-line reporting to the Founder President located in the Head Office in Florida
- The incumbent will build and manage a marketing team of 5-15 members
- Peers: Heads of Technology, Process, Finance & Accounting, and Customer Service
