Vice President - Legal Entity Control/Legal Support - Private Equity/Fund Administration

Role Summary:

Seeking a senior professional to lead and scale the Legal Operations team in India, covering Legal Entity Management, LP Transfers, Fund Launch, Onboarding and Wind-down. The role requires strong operational expertise along with team leadership, stakeholder management and process improvement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor and scale the Legal Operations team.

- Oversee LP transfers, documentation, trackers, workflows, TAT and accuracy.

- Manage Legal Entity Management, including entity records, incumbency and D&O.

- Build and improve processes, SOPs, workflows, KPIs and reporting.

- Drive transitions, automation and operational efficiency.

- Partner with Legal, Investor Relations, Compliance, Finance, Fund Administration and external providers.

- Work effectively in a matrix environment across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.

Requirements:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Private Credit, Fund Administration, Investor Services, Transfer Agency, Fund Operations or Legal Operations.

- Experience in investor onboarding, subscription processing, LP transfers or fund administration.

- Proven experience in team setup/management and transitions.

- Understanding of private fund structures, partnership agreements and investor lifecycle events.

- Strong stakeholder, project management, analytical and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- Experience with CRM, investor servicing, fund administration or workflow platforms preferred.

- Alternative asset management/private markets experience strongly preferred.
