Job Title : Vice President - Learning & Development


Firm Overview :


Our client is a leading global alternative investment firm with a significant international presence and a strong focus on developing talent within a high-performance, collaborative culture. The firm is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to join its HR team in Bangalore.


Location : Bangalore, India


Role Overview :


The Vice President - Learning & Development will partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to design, deliver, and continuously enhance leadership and professional development initiatives. This role will play a key part in shaping learning strategy for India while contributing to global learning programmes and curriculum.


Key Responsibilities :


- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify learning and leadership development needs.


- Design, facilitate, and continuously improve management, leadership, and professional development programmes.


- Own and enhance elements of the global learning curriculum, including needs assessment, content development, and programme delivery.


- Lead and support leadership development and high-potential talent initiatives.


- Drive AI-enabled and self-directed learning initiatives in partnership with global stakeholders.


- Evaluate and manage external learning vendors and training partners.


- Collaborate with global HR and business teams to deliver scalable learning solutions aligned with organizational priorities.


- Measure programme effectiveness using participant feedback and business insights to drive continuous improvement.


- Develop customized learning solutions covering management, communication, presentation, and professional skills.


- Support firmwide diversity, inclusion, and talent development initiatives.


Qualifications :


- 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related function.


- Experience within Financial Services or Professional Services is strongly preferred.


- Demonstrated success designing and delivering leadership development programmes in a global organization.


- Strong programme and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.


- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership.


- Outstanding communication, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.


- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.


- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
