Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:

- Develop and execute the company's land acquisition strategy to meet development and growth objectives.

- Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities by conducting thorough market research, feasibility studies, and due diligence.

- Build a pipeline of prospective sites that align with the company's vision and long-term goals.

Land Acquisition & Negotiations:

- Source, analyze, and negotiate land deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

- Manage all aspects of the acquisition process, including zoning, entitlement, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance.

- Establish relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and government entities to secure high-value opportunities.

Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong networks within the real estate and development communities.

- Develop partnerships with local authorities, municipalities, and industry stakeholders to streamline acquisition processes.

- Represent the company at industry events, fostering relationships to enhance business opportunities.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team focused on land acquisition and business development.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and project management, to ensure smooth handoff and execution of acquired properties.

- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on acquisition progress, risks, and opportunities.

Financial Oversight & Reporting:

- Manage budgets and financial performance related to land acquisitions.

- Prepare and present financial analyses, cash flow projections, and ROI calculations for potential acquisitions.

- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to inform strategy adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

- 15+years of progressive experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or business development roles.

- Proven track record of successful land acquisitions, with expertise in zoning, entitlement, and regulatory requirements.

- Strong industry network and relationships with key players in the real estate sector.
