Vice President - KYC Onboarding - Banking

We are seeking a seasoned KYC Onboarding professional to lead end-to-end customer onboarding and due diligence operations within a regulated banking environment. The role will be responsible for managing complex onboarding cases, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving process excellence, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end KYC onboarding processes for retail, corporate, or institutional clients

- Ensure adherence to AML, CDD, EDD, and regulatory compliance requirements

- Review and approve complex and high-risk onboarding cases, including PEPs and adverse media alerts

- Drive quality assurance, governance controls, and audit readiness across onboarding operations

- Manage stakeholder engagement with Compliance, Risk, Front Office, and Relationship Teams

- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, TAT, and productivity metrics to ensure operational efficiency

- Lead periodic reviews, remediation exercises, and regulatory reporting requirements

- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation or control enhancements

- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews

Key Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in KYC/AML onboarding within banking or financial services

- Strong knowledge of AML regulations, FATCA/CRS, sanctions screening, and global regulatory frameworks

- Proven experience handling high-risk, complex, and large-value client onboarding

- Experience managing teams and driving performance in a structured environment

- Strong stakeholder management and governance orientation

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
