Vice President IT Ops- Hardware & Networking - Global E-Publishing BPO Job Summary: The Vice President (VP) of IT (Hardware & Networking) is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance hardware and networking systems. This role involves managing IT operations, driving technology strategy, and ensuring seamless connectivity and security across all business functions. The VP will lead a team of IT professionals, oversee vendor relationships, and implement best practices for IT infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities: 1. IT Infrastructure Strategy & Management: - Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals. - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware, servers, storage, and networking systems. - Ensure IT systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. 2. Networking & Security: - Manage enterprise-wide network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and cloud networking. - Ensure high availability and performance of network services. - Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and threat management. - Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Qualifications & Skills: Technical Skills: - Expertise in IT infrastructure, data centers, networking (LAN/WAN), and server management. - Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments. - Experience with network security, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices. - Knowledge of virtualization, storage solutions, and IT asset management. - Hands-on experience with IT monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Education & Experience: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 20+ years of experience with 5-18 Yrs in IT infrastructure and networking, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Proven track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
