
Job Summary
As the program manager of IT GCC with 15 + yrs of experience, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of Jindal group's technology initiatives through oversight of six specialized Centers of Excellence (CoEs)in GCC. You'll serve as the senior program leader responsible to manage enterprise-wide IT strategy, infrastructure, governance, security, and innovation. This role demands a proven leader with deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage large scale IT implementations and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute IT strategy aligned with company objectives and growth roadmap.
- Serve as primary point of contact between IT GCC and business stakeholders
- Lead GCC CoEs focused on Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Data, AI & Analytics, SAP, IT -OT and similar
- Translate business goals into actionable IT plans with measurable outcomes.
Technology Operations & Governance
- Oversee daily GCC operations including network infrastructure, security, data management, and systems architecture.
- Monitor and report KPIs, SLAs, and compliance measures across all GCC IT functions to GCC leadership
- Establish and enforce IT GCC policies and best practices to drive performance and efficiency.
Project & Portfolio Management
- Lead a portfolio of high-impact projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Standardize project management practices across GCC IT CoEs, integrating agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure GCC IT solutions are aligned with evolving needs.
Talent & Vendor Management
- Build and nurture high-performing teams within each CoE, fostering skill development and career growth.
- Identify and close talent gaps through strategic hiring, training, and mentoring.
- Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to optimize value and performance from outsourced services.
Innovation & Enablement
- Drive forward-looking technology assessments and implementation projects to enhance customer and employee experiences.
- Promote reusable technology components and scalable services across the organization.
- Enable back-office automation and optimize front-office technology capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in Business IT management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Management or an IT-related field is preferred.
Experience:
a. 15+ years of progressive experience in IT in a leadership role managing diverse teams and initiatives
b. Proven experience in IT operations within industrial sectors such as steel, power, renewable energy, or cement is highly desirable.
c. Strong command over enterprise architecture, IT governance, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and modern application development
d. Proven ability to develop and lead CoEs or multi-functional IT teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
e. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
